Oud perfume, which was manufactured over Various parts of India and southeast Asia used by the ancient royalty, has recently become very popular with many people around the world. It is said to be the most luxurious scents on the market, and it is said to offer those who wear it a sensation of peace, tranquility of, and femininity. Oud is produced from the oils of the Argarwood tree and is sometimes also called oud oil.

Oud perfume contains only natural oils, so it can not be purchased in the typical perfume bottle, and the price can range from one dollar to several dollars, depending on the scent that is being sought after. The pure oils, however, can be easily purchased for twenty dollars at most craft stores, beauty supply shops, and even on-line. In addition, some online stores sell Oud oil in small quantities. However, because of its popularity, it is somewhat difficult to find pure and oil for sale on the retail market. Oud that is sold in high concentrations may also be hard to find, as retailers do not usually offer high concentrations of any oil but instead provide smaller amounts of each of several oils that are used to create the distinctive smell of Oud.

Those who enjoy Oud perfume but cannot afford to buy the pure product can still purchase Oud in small quantities at local craft stores or even on-line. In fact, many perfume outlets offer small samplers of Oud, which are sold in small bottles of a few ounces each. Many of these small samplers are designed to last for only a few weeks, and then need to be replaced. The fragrances contained in the small packages of oud smell almost identical to the oils that are found in the refined version of the Oud. Because of this, when using oud smell in a perfume application, it is important to apply a small amount, let it dry, then reapply it to a new fragrance for a long period of time.
