Le Labo vetiver 46 is a special scent that combines the two most popular scents in the world: vetiver and 46. The scent comes in a solid velvet perfume because of its unique composition consisting of guaic wood and vetiver that was created using oud. It possesses an interesting aroma which is hard to describe, but leaves an indescribable feeling on anyone who smells it.

One gotten so many compliments from this cent. It’s clean, earthy, fresh and downright good. I’ve worn it out to dinner with my wife and have received multiple complements from strangers. It’s not overpowering, just pleasant, versatile and enjoyable. This is a great fall- first date scent. It’s sexy, clean, enjoyable, refined. Scent is long lasting, so one application can last the day. From the first spray you smell vetiver up front with a bit of citrus and spice. I smell pepper and something citrus-ish. As it dries down you smell the woods come into play with vetiver that makes you sit up and take notice of this scent.

I tried this on in the store after reading the reviews on this site. I’d never smelled vetiver before so I didn’t know what to expect. I was surprised by how approachable it is, unlike some of the other male fragrances that are heavy and smoky, dry sweet smelling paper. It’s not something I’d wear every day, but it’s pretty for formal occasions.
